Early Learning
Early learning is crucial as it lays the foundation for cognitive, social, and emotional development, setting the stage for lifelong success.

Building Bright Futures
Building Bright Futures
We partner with children to nurture their learning journey, fostering social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills for lifelong learning. Recognising the importance of early brain development, our university-trained teachers lead a structured curriculum in our childcare settings.
Communication is central to our programs, and we encourage children to share ideas and build strong relationships with families. We meet families’ high expectations by implementing the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), enriching each child’s educational journey with our qualified teachers.
Our Learning Framework
Our Learning Framework
The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is a preschool curriculum endorsed by Australian governments for early childhood settings.
At Kinda Kapers, we fully embrace the EYLF to guide our teaching and learning approach. It’s designed to enrich children’s education and development through key learning principles and practices. Through the EYLF, we focus on:
- Creating enriching environments for children’s learning.
- Intentionally teaching essential skills and attitudes for their future.
- Assessing their progress and maximizing learning opportunities tailored to each child.

Belonging, Being & Becoming
Belonging, Being & Becoming
Belonging

Being
Focuses on the present moment, ensuring children feel respected and valued in all interactions. We prioritize care and support, empowering children to navigate daily experiences confidently.
Becoming
Highlights children’s growth and learning journey. At Kinda Kapers, we encourage children to understand diverse situations and develop skills to tackle new challenges as they progress in their learning together.

- Understanding rules, routines, and fairness
- Learning in a group setting
- Respecting themselves and others

Your Child’s Learning Journey
Your Child’s Learning Journey
At Kinda Kapers, we continuously plan, document, and evaluate your child’s learning journey. Our early childhood teachers observe and gather information to create play-based educational programs tailored to each child’s strengths and needs.
Every day, we document the day’s activities and learnings through the ‘day books’. These capture the focus topics and lessons through pictures and a short description and are emailed out daily.
Educators will also continually make observations and discuss learning goals with families. Twice a year, the educators will share a developmental checklist assessing a range of areas that reflect our dedication to their development and our commitment to professional care.
