At Kinda Kapers, we believe that:
- Parents and families are the first and most important teachers a child will ever have. Our educators understand the importance of building positive relationships with families, so that children will flourish both at home and in the childcare environment.
- Everyone should feel welcome. Our centres are welcoming and inviting, and each groups' individual programs are inclusive, reflecting families beliefs, values, culture and diversity.
- The space in which children develop is important. Our centres are purpose-built and the indoor and outdoor learning environments become flexible and interchangeable spaces where children are consistently engaged in learning
- Each child's individuality and uniqueness should be celebrated. Our educators create dynamic learning environments, which foster a sense of inclusion, fun and exploration.
- Learning should always be fun! Our play-based programs encourage child-initiated learning.

Governance & Leadership
- Kinda Kapers commenced over 25 years ago as a single centre and has grown as a local family business focused on loving care and quality education.
- Kinda Kapers centres are governed by highly qualified & experienced managers. Most of our centre managers have been with Kinda Kapers for over 10 years and we are particularly proud of their long term dedication to childcare and the families in their centres. Our managers ensure that day to day operations of the centre result in the highest standard of quality practice.
- Training is key focus for all of our educators. Through constantly reflecting & training to refine our educational practices we guarantee the highest possible quality outcome for each child & their family.
Kinda Kapers is childcare & preschool provider based in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie & Maitland region. We have centres in Adamstown, Belmont, Tighes Hill, Maitland, Charlestown, Mount Hutton and Toronto. For more than 25 years we have provided safe and nurturing care in our purpose-built learning environments. Our curriculum incorporates the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to support children's learning development and their transition to primary school.
